Sometimes I replace the winter cold with summer memories
I become transparent in the December sky, as the electrical beat of my soul matches itself with the past
Then I take my time machine back to nightfalls of stargazing and Popsicle stands
When the brazen heat danced delusions across my bare feet and spun me into fairytales
I dreamed.
Of myself. Spell-woven, two seasons back
Catching my heart in the starry night sky
it was then time felt numb ;;
